BUL vs WAKISO GIANTS: Alex Isabirye’s men aim to avenge painful first round loss



BUL FC will be out to seek to avenge a heartbreaking loss inflicted on them by Wakiso Giants when they visited Kabaka Kyabaggu in the first round.

They were handed a 4-3 beating .

BUL come into this tie wounded after suffering a 3-1 to Vipers SC at Bugembe, their sole goal in the game was scored by defender Walter Ochora.

On the other hand, Wakiso Giants managed a 4-1 victory over Gaddafi FC thanks to Moses Aliro who bagged a brace, Sam Ssenyonjo and Sharif Kimbowa for the goals.

Isabirye targets nothing but victory in this encounter and believes his side has all it takes to emerge victorious,

“As I have always emphasized, we need three points in every game we play and this tie comes a time we need badly need the points.”

Alex Gitta who takes Bugembe as a second home for his side targets giving their area fans joy since he believes their journey started from Jinja,

The Purple Sharks welcome back Joshua Lubwama and Hassan Wasswa Dazo from injuries, Tom Masiko also returns from suspension.

Edward Saturo is ruled out due to an injury, Titus Ssematimba and Hassan Ssenyonjo are down with malaria while forward Sam Ssenyonjo will be subjected to late fitness test.

BUL FC is seventh with 26 points from 16 games, victory can help them move to the fifth position in case URA FC and Arua Hill SC suffer defeats from their games.

Wakiso Giants is a position above their hosts with 27 points, in case of victory they can go to the third position.
