Burundian giants complete the signing of Ugandan duo

Burundian topflight side Bumamuru FC have completed the signing of two Ugandan players Joshua Kigozi and James Ssemambo.

The pair has been unattached to any club having previously played for Kyetume FC in the Uganda Premier League.

Both players also played for Uganda Christian University in the University Football League.

Kigozi is a utility player who came comfortably play in defense and midfield while Ssemambo is a forward who can ably play on either flank.

Their new club Bumamuru FC will be representing Burundi in the CAF Confederation Cup for the second time in a row.

Last season, the Bujumbura based club was eliminated at the preliminary round by Congolese side CSM Diables Noirs.

The club also signed former Rayon Sports and Azam FC midfielder Ally Niyonzima.

Bumamuru FC was formed in 2014 and has enjoyed domestic success lately including the last two editions of the Burundi President Cups.
