Busoga United earned a convincing 2-0 victory over debutants Blacks Power at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.
Ibrahim Kayiwa and Franco Balabala scored in each half to help Paul Kiwanuka’s side to their first victory of the season.
Kayiwa converted from the spot in the fourth minute before Balabala doubled the hosts’ lead into seven minutes of the second half.
Blacks Power will have to wait longer for their maiden goal in the Uganda Premier League.

They have so far lost two matches after also losing to BUL FC.
Busoga United will play their next game on Wednesday 12th-October against UPDF FC at Bombo Military Barracks grounds.
Onen’s Blacks Power FC host Soltilo Bright Stars on Tuesday 11th at Aki Bua Stadium in Lira.
