CAF CC: BUL’ s Isabirye optimistic ahead of return leg fixture against Future

David GOMBE

BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye Musongola is optimistic that his charges will be able to prevail to the next round when they face off with Future FC in the CAF Confederation Cup return fixture on Saturday night at the Cairo International Stadium.

The two sides played out to a goalless stalemate in their first leg meeting at the St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

“We just need to score goals and avoid conceding if we are to advance. We missed a lot of chances during the first leg meeting at home. I am very sure that we shall score, we are ready despite of the fact that we are playing at night. We have been working hard in training and we shall do our level best to advance to the next round.” Said Isabirye

Both sides are debutants in the competition and will be seeking to make the group phase during their first time.

The aggregate winner will take on the winner between Buffles du Borgou and Kallon FC in the next round.
