Kampala Queens 1-0 Kawempe Muslim
Women Super League leaders Kampala Queens edged Kawempe Muslim 1-0 at Kabojja courtesy of a Resty Nanziri 16th minute penalty.
The penalty which proved to be the difference between both sides came in a very questionable manner as referee Alex Wasswa pointed to the spot after Agnes Nabukenya was adjudged to have handled a Margret Kunihira in the area.
Nanziri stepped up and flawlessly put the ball slightly above Juliet Adeke’s trying gloves.

The strike took her tally to seven goals this season and on level with UCU Lady Cardinals forward Ashait Nalugwa.
Kampala Queens were forced into a first half sub after Shamirah Nalugya was stretchered off injured and her place was taken by Hasifah Nassuna who had started on the bench.
The second period saw Kawempe push for a would be equalizer and their best chance fell to Shakira Nyinagahirwa who went one on one with an onrushing goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro but put the ball slightly above the bar.
Kampala Queens also had a last minute chance through Kunihira whose low drive rattled the lower post with Adeke already beaten.
The Hamza Lutalo coached team has now won all their eight games this season. Their next game will be against Rines SS while Kawempe will host Uganda Martyrs in their next fixture.
Elsewhere Makerere University bounced back to the rails with a 3-1 win over Asubo Gafford Ladies while She Corporate and Rines drew goalless at Nakawa.
