Forward Denis Omedi scored a second half hat trick to inspire Kitara FC to a 3-0 win over UPDF FC at the Bombo Military Grounds.

Omedi broke the deadlock in the 58th minute with a powerful header after defender Samson Kasozi failed to make a clearance from Arthur Kiggundu’s long ball.

The 2022/23 Big League top scorer doubled the lead with a thumping shot from Frank Zaga Tumwesigye’s exquisite lobbing assist in the 67th minute.

He completed his treble with another clinical finish as he lobbed the ball above UPDF keeper Jimmy Okidi in the 89th minute.
