Edward Golola appointed Tooro United head coach

Tooro United Football Club has today Wednesday 12th August unveiled former Vipers SC coach Edward Golola to steer them through the 2020/21 FUFA Big League season.

Golola will be assisted by Gomba’s Masaza Cup winner Simon Ddungu

His technical team is completed by Moses Oloya as the goalkeeping coach and Jamada Magasi as the first team trainer.

Golola has been jobless following his sacking at Vipers SC midway last season.

He has previously worked with FUFA Big League side Kitara FC, Ffumbe clan in the Bika bya Baganda Football tournament and also worked as the head coach Ssingo for the 2020 Airtel Masaza Cup tourney.

Ddungu made his name in the Airtel Masaza Cup tourney having worked with Mawokota, Busiro and is to serve as the head coach Kabula.

Oloya has been a free agent after his contract with relegated Maroons FC expiring and opted not to renew. He has also worked with Vipers SC, Onduparaka FC and Somalia.

The team has also appointed Fred Kasekende as the head coach for the junior team.
