Allan Kyambadde’s El Gouna FC have been officially relegated from the Egyptian Premier League to the second tier as the league climaxed on Tuesday night.

Despite beating Pyramids 3-1 on the final day, El Gouna were unfortunate to succumb to relegation on goal difference after finishing 16th on the table of 18 teams.

They had a (-13) goal difference compared to Ghazal El Mahallah who finished 15th with the same number of points 36 but with a slightly superior goal difference of (-11).
