Express FC will be banking on their perfect head to head record against Wakiso Giants as they visit Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso in the only league game scheduled for Monday.
The Red Eagles have won all their four previous meetings against the Purple Sharks since their first ever meeting in 2019.
The highly anticipated clash comes as both sides are seeking to return to winning ways following unconvincing results in their most recent league games.
Express lost 2-0 at home to Soltilo Bright Stars courtesy of a Nelson Ssenkatuka brace whereas Wakiso Giants were held to a goalless draw by the bottom placed Onduparaka side at Bombo.

John Luyinda, Wakiso Giants head coach
” We are facing a good team that is wounded and that makes the duel a highly intriguing one. But as usual, we have had good preparations and played at home means we must do everything right to pick all points.
“In football, we don’t duel much on the past but the present and we are fully focused on the game tomorrow and not the past meetings.” Luyinda said via the club’s website.
James Odoch, Express FC head coach
“We expect a tough encounter against Wakiso who are without a doubt the best team in the league so far when you look at the standings and how they are playing. But we have a strong record against them and we shall be hoping to capitalize on that to ensure that we return to winning ways having lost our previous game against Bright Stars.” Odoch said via the club’s website.
Players to watch
Ibrahim Kasule, Titus Ssematimba and Moses Aliro are expected to be instrumental for the home side.
For the visiting Red Eagles, if it’s not Kayiwa then it’s supposed to Marvin Oshaba, Enock Ssebagala and Hussein Senoga for inspiration.
