Striker Seif Batte has been announced as Express’ first signing of the current transfer season.
He joins as a free agent after being released by SC Villa whom he represented last season and managed 3 goals.
The former Soltilo Bright Stars attacker has put pen to paper on a 12 months contract.
Batte has also previously played for Maroons FC, Kyetume, UPDF and Gaddafi. His was also capped one by Sebastien Desabre at CHAN 2018 in Morocco.

The fast paced forward affirmed that it has always been his dream to play for Express and he’s eager to meet the club’s faithfuls.
“I am very excited to join Express FC, this is a big club which every player would like to play for and I am to deliver. To the fans, I can’t wait to see you.”
He is expected to boost the club’s striking department that has Marvin Oshaba and Anwar Ntege.
The Red Eagles have also signed Kajjansi United defender Ashiraf Mbaziira pending unveiling.
