Express FC finally unveil defender Enock Walusimbi

Express Football Club have unveiled defender Enock Walusimbi from Soltilo Bright Stars as their 15th signing.

Walusimbi put pen to paper on an employment contract of two years with The Red Eagles.

” I am grateful for the opportunity to become an Express FC player. This club has alot of history so much so that I have always wanted to be part of it.”

Walusimbi said after his unveiling.

Walusimbi joined Bright Stars in 2017 from Regional League side Luweero United having previously featured for Nansana United FC (2013-15) and Shafranto FC (2011-13)

His game reading, man-marking and timely clearances made him a key figure at Bright Stars as they made their first-ever Stanbic Uganda Cup final in 2018 and survived relegation last season

He won the inaugural edition of the FUFA Drum tournament with Buganda province in 2018 and also plays for Ffumbe Clan in the Bika By’abaganda Football Tournament.

Walusimbi is expected to bolster Express’ central defense department that also has Isa Lumu, Arthur Kiggundu, Cyrus Kibande and new signing Richard Bbosa among others.

The Red Eagles have so far unveiled 14 players who include Godfrey Lwesibawa, Abel Eturude, Charles Musiige, Mahad Yaya Kakooza, Faizal Sekyanzi, Dennis Otim, Chrispus Kusiima, Mustafa Kiragga, Baker Sakah, Denis Mubuya Mugerwa, Isaac Nsengiyunva, John Toki Byamukama, Richard Bbosa and Ibrahim Kayiwa.

The Uganda Premier League 2020-21 season is expected to tentatively kick off on 29th-October-2020.
