Express FC will be seeking for their first home win of the season when they welcome on fire Vipers SC at Muteesa II Stadium on Saturday.
The defending champions have only managed one win in their opening three games of the season, they lost to Arua Hill and UPDF FC before maximizing points at BUL FC on Tuesday.
Vipers on the other hand have perfectly began the campaign after managing two two wins in their first two games against Police FC (2-0) and Wakiso Giants (5-0).

This will be the 24th meeting between the two sides. The Venoms have been the dominant side in the previous meetings, managing 10 wins while the Red Eagles have picked up four victories with 9 games ending in stalemates.
Last season, the two sides played out to a 1-1 draw at Wankulukuku with Express FC win the reverse fixture 1-0 in Kitende.

The home side will not be without head coach Wasswa Bbosa who is serving his final touchline ban.
Bbosa’s assistant James Odoch believes that they will build on the win at BUL for maximum points.
“I am happy we picked up our first win away against BUL FC on Tuesday, we have since been preparing for Vipers. We respect them because they have been winning games but we also want to win our first game at home and the boys know what’s at stake.”
Said Odoch.
Venoms assistant coach Marcelo Cardoso says that they are well prepared though he anticipates a tough contest
“We have used the previous days to prepare well for the challenge against Express. We are going to take this match serious due to the big expectations that are on us.” We think it’s going to be tough match and such games you have to be mentality prepared.”
