Express FC set to keep important midfieder

Seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC are set to keep defensive midfielder Hussein Senoga.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Senoga will continue with his journey at Express FC next season.

16 time Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa were interested in services but the latest indicate that Senoga has accepted to stay at the Red Eagles for another season.

Senoga joined Express FC at the start of last season from Buganda Regional league side Free Stars on a two year employment contract.

The midfielder also features for Ffumbe clan in the Bika Byabaganda football tournament and has previously played for Kyaggwe, Buwekula and Gomba in prestigious the Masaza Cup tournament.

Express are under the stewardship of James Odoch and recently confirmed former referee Ashraf Miiro as their new Chief Executive officer.

Suubi Kiwanuka replaced his elder brother Kiryowa Kiwanuka as the club chairman. Last season, the Red Eagles finished 10th on the UPL log with 34 points in 28 games.
