The 2019/20 season was Frank Ssenyondo’s debut in the Uganda Premier League and turned out to be a splendid one for the Express FC diminutive winger.
Ssenyondo scored a total of eight goals and registered five assists for the Red Eagles but hopes for a better campaign come next season,
” I am hoping to surpass last season’s numbers, I want to register double digits and help the team.”
Ssenyondo told the club website when asked about personal targets for the forthcoming season.

The pint-sized forward was recruited as a trialist from Terranova Soccer Academy at the start of last season and ended up proving his worth as one of the best players in the league.
” I came over to Wankulukuku for trials and was selected then subsequently signed for the new season, honestly the stage was big but I believed in myself.” He said.
“As a player you have to jump at the available opportunity and I did just that and proved myself.” He added.

Ssenyondo is one of the players expected to be key as Wasswa Bbosa embarks on rebuilding a new Express FC squad.
The six-time league champions finished 9th on the UPL log with 31 points collected from the 25 games played last season.
