Ethiopian top flight club Fasil Kenema has captured the services of Ugandan striker Hamis Diego Kizza on a short term basis.

Kizza has been a free agent since parting ways with Sudanese outfit Al Hilal Obeid at the start of December last year. He had attempted to join Mujib Kasule’s Proline but was unsuccessful.

“Fasil Kenema has signed a deal with the Ugandan international to strengthen the team for the second round of the league. We wish you a happy stay” the club said as translated from Amharic.

Kizza replaces fellow compatriot Robert Sentongo who parted ways with the club earlier on this week on Tuesday. He also joins Uganda Cranes midfielder Yasser Mugerwa.

Since springing to consciousness with the now defunct Nalubale FC, Kizza has played for URA FC, Yanga FC and Simba SC in Tanzania and Free State Stars in South Africa.

Fasil Kenema is 6th on the Ethiopian league table with 22 points garnered from 15 games as they head into the second round of the season.
