Former Arsenal FC and Barcelona central midfielder Alexandre Song has joined Djibouti club AS Arta Solar 7 on a two year contract as per multiple reports in Cameroon.

Song has been a free agent since March this year after his contract with FC Sion in Switzerland was terminated for refusing a pay cut during the pandemic.

The 33 year old was expected to join one of the clubs in the Cameroon league but surprisingly opted for a move to Djibouti.
