Ugandan midfielder David Owori finally made his long awaited debut for his new club Velez CF as they lost 2-0 to Malaga CF in their first pre-season friendly at the Estadio Vivar Tellez.
A first minute own goal from Fer Navarro and a 22nd minute goal from Jairo Semerio ensured a comfortable win for Malaga, a former La Liga side.
Owori who dons number 12, was deployed on the right hand side of attack.
The versatile midfielder joined Velez in March this year when the club was heading for promotional play offs in the fourth tier.
