Former Villa midfielder joins Swedish second tier club

SINAN RAJUB SENOGA

David Owori has completed his move to Swedish second tier club Utsiktens BK from Spanish fourth tier side Velez CF.

Owori joins Utsiktens BK on loan from Velez ahead of the new Swedish season that starts in April.

The former SC Villa midfielder joined Velez CF last year in March but has most times been sidelined by injury in the opening part of the current season.

Known for his versatility across the field, Owori is expected to be deployed as a right winger or a wing back in the forthcoming season.

His new club Utsiktens BK earned promotion from the third tier at the end of last season.

They will be competing in the second tier commonly known as The Superettan, for the first time since 2015 when they were relegated.

Utsiktens BK was founded 87 years ago, in 1935 in Sweden’s second largest city of Gothenborg.
