Forward Fred Amaku has extended his stay at Maroons for a further two years.
Amaku played a key role for Maroons as they gained topflight promotion. He scored 14 goals in 17 FUFA Big League appearances last season.
Amaku expressed his delight upon renewing his stay at the Luzira based side
I am feeling good, enjoying my football more than ever and, most importantly, I feel I am making a contribution to the team,” Amaku said.

Senfuma Mouhamoud the head coach at Maroons noted,
“What I can say positive about Amaku has already been said by many, he is an exceptional talent.” He has fantastic energy for the game and the club, so joyous to watch”. We are lucky to have him again.” Said Senfuma Mouhamoud

Amaku has previously featured for Busoga United and Onduparaka FC.
He joins Ronald Orombi, Emmanuel Akol, Godwin Kitagenda, Felix Okot, Ceaser Olega, Abraham Tusubira, Edward Kabona and Solomon Walusimbi who are the other players that have renewed their employment contracts at Maroons.
