The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel has awarded three points and three goals to Vipers after a successful petition against Tooro United.

Vipers petition Tooro United for fielding Ronald Kayondo who was ineligible to feature in the Uganda Premier league game between the two sides on 11th, March, 2022 at the Buhinga Stadium.

Tooro had initially won the game 1-0 thanks to a Mark Nsubuga late strike.

Kayondo had accumulated three bookings which automatically ruled him out of the Vipers contest.

He was booked against Onduparaka in the 38th minute in Arua on January, 8th and was also yellow carded against the same opponent in the second on February,8th 2022.

The third caution was against SC Villa in the 1-1 stalemate at Buhinga. Following the card accumulation, Kayondo was supposed to miss the game against Police but was brought on as a substitute in the 21st minute.

The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel ruling, sees Vipers extend their grid at the top of the UPL log with 49 points and 7 above second placed KCCA.
