FUFA Big League: Police beat Kataka to stretch lead at the top

Police FC defeated Kataka FC 1-0 stretching their leadership on top of the FUFA Big League table.

Isaac Ogwang scored the only goal for Simon Peter Mugerwa’s coached side at Kavumba.

Mugerwa appreciated his players for the come back from the previous game which hand ended in a one all draw against Kigezi Homeboyz at Kabale,

“It is a very important win for us our opponents are very tough side that does not allow you to play the game but I have been impressed with the boy for managing to control the dangerous throw ins.”We both scored and defended well hence keeping a clean sheet.”

Police FC consolidate themselves on top of the table with 30 points from 13 games.

Kataka FC is in the sixth position with 20 points from the same number of games.
