The FUFA Executive Committee has approved Northern Region Football Association to host the Final of the Uganda Cup 2022/2023 season.
The final will be hosted in Lira at the John Akii Bua Stadium next year.
The development was announced during the 27th FUFA Exco Meeting that was held on 31st August 2022 at FUFA House.
The 2021/22 Stanbic Uganda Cup final was held at the King George Stadium in Masindi.

BUL FC beat Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC 3-1 to clinch their maiden trophy in the final.
Following their Uganda Cup triumph Alex Isabirye’s charges will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup this season.
They will face off with Egypt side Future FC in the Preliminary round with the first leg scheduled for Saturday, 10th September at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

The aggregate winning team between the two sides will face off with either Buffles from Benin or Sierra Leone’s Kallon FC.
