The FUFA Electoral Committee Chairman Mathias Bwire has declared that incumbent President Moses Magogo will run for a third term in office unopposed.
Bwire revealed that out of the three candidates who picked nomination forms only Magogo successful returned his forms
“I hereby declare that the only candidate that who brought back nomination forms is Moses Magogo and his executive was fully sent.” With the power entrusted to the electoral committee, I declare Mr.Magogo and his listed executive members as dully nominated with all the requirements provided as by the FUFA electoral code and FUFA statues.”

Bwire confirmed the declaration
Katwe United President Allan Ssewanyana and Proline FC Director were the other two people who pick nomination forms but didn’t return them.
Bwire also stated that one of the people who had shown interest requested for more days but again failed to bring back his nomination forms

“One of the candidates requested for more five days but again failed to bring back the nomination forms. He however, came back with a document requesting us to declare him without providing the required requirements as by the FUFA electoral code and statues.”
Bwire revealed.
Magogo will now run for a third term in FUFA during the FUFA polls slated for August 21st in Mbale City.
The Member of Parliament in the 11th house has been the FUFA boss since 2013 when he replaced Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa.
