The FUFA Referees Disciplinary Panel has suspended two match officials, Kalibbala John Bosco and Mutonyi Jane for failing to justify some decisions in the Uganda Premier League game between Gaddafi FC and Onduparaka FC played on December, 21st, 2021.
Kalibbala and Mutonyi have been suspended from officiating football at all levels for 120 days effective 1st February 2022.
Both the Centre Referee failed to justify their respective decisions of ordering for the retake of the penalties yet they were both in perfect positions to clearly see that the goalkeeper did not blatantly move off the goal line before the ball was kicked by the penalty taker. The incorrect decisions of the two officials had an impact on the sporting results of the match.
The matter is also forwarded to the FUFA Investigation Chamber of the Ethics Committee to further investigate whether the incorrect decisions were intended to pre-determine the results of the match contrary to the FUFA Ethics code.

Last season, Mutonyi was suspended when she poorly advised Center referee George Nkurunziza during the game between Wakiso and Police to disallow a legitimate goal.
Meanwhile, the two join Ronald Madanda who was banned for six months for his poor officiating in the aborted Onduparaka vs KCCA game in Arua last year.
