The Federation of Uganda Football Associations has come out to the rescue of Isma Mugulusi a prodigious SC Villa and Uganda Hippos midfielder.

Mugulusi needed $7000 (Shs25m) to have a knee operation but now FUFA has decided to meet the travel and medical bills for the talented midfielder

“FUFA will foot the travel costs and medical bills of Isma Mugulusi who is set to undergo an operation on his knee in Europe.”

FUFA confirmed the development

This means that the initial fundraising plans are no more. The young midfielder will now travel to Greece to have his operation.

For starters, Mugulusi had earlier tried to have a surgery in Kenya but they asked for $14000 and also had a chance to have it for free at Crutone Hospital in Italy but failed to get a visa.
