The FUFA Women Super League continues on Wednesday 9th with an anticipated encounter between Kampala Queens and Kawempe Muslim at IUIU Kabojja grounds at 3pm.

Kawempe Muslim will start a new life without Juliet Nalukenge who already moved to Europe to join Apollon Ladies in Cyrus.

Kampala Queens on the other hand also start a new era under newly appointed coach Hamza Lutalo who took over from Isma Mukiibi.

Kawempe Muslim have never lost to Kampala Queens and hope to rely on their spotless record against the Moses Magogo owned club.

The school side will also be without Margaret Kunihira due to obscure reasons but will hope to rely on Hadija Nandago, Shakira Nyinagahirwa, Asia Nakibuuka, Sharon Nadunga and Allen Nassazi among others.

Ayub Khalifa the Kawempe coach expects his team to emerge victorious despite issues of fatigue among players who have been with the U20 team.

“We are prepared for the game though we have not been together since some of my players have been on the U20 team but that won’t stop us from winning. Some of the girls have fatigue from that long journey from Ghana but I know they will give me the best.” He said in a press interview.

Kampala Queens will unleash their new signings who include Shamira Nalugya acquired from Kawempe Muslim.

Lutalo says he hopes for a winning start despite facing a good team,

“I am new in women football but I always do my part. I hope for good results though I am facing Kawempe Muslim which is a good team. I hope we shall put a good fight.” Lutalo said

Lutalo is expected to miss inspirational skipper Fauzia Najjemba who is on her way to Europe very soon.

He will therefore rely on Lillian Mutuuzo, Zaina Namuleme, Resty Nanziri and Nalugya for inspiration.
