Gaddafi set to launch bid for five Express players

Gaddafi is set to sign over five players from Express FC in the forthcoming transfer window.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Gaddafi have kick started negotiations with Express FC players Murushid Juuko, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Martin Kizza, Mahad Yaya Kakooza and Isa Lumu to join them next season.

The five players who will be out of contract at the end of this season are ready to reunite with their former boss at Express Wasswa Bbosa who is has already agreed terms with the Jinja based side.

They all played a key role as Express won the 2020/21 Uganda Premier league and the CECAFA Kagame Cup.

Gaddafi top hierarchy want to build a competitive team that will be able to challenge for major honours in future.

The Soldier Boyz are currently 8th on the UPL log with 28 points in 24 games. They are also winless in their last seven league games.
