16 time league champions SC Villa have confirmed a list of 13 players who have left the club in the recently concluded transfer window.

The 13 include Uganda Cranes defender Gavin Kizito whose contract came to an end last term.

His confirmation implies that the late negotiations to retain Kizito hit a dead end with the youthful defender walking out as a free agent.

His defensive partner Kenneth Semakula already returned to the club training early this week.

Other departures at the club are midfielders Ibrahim Sadam Juma, Nicholas Kabonge, Bayo Ali as well as experienced defender Bernard Agele.

Goalkeepers Martin Senkooto and Joseph Yiga also left the club with the former joining Arua Hill SC.

The duo of Shafik Bakaki and Amir Kakomo already joined Wasswa Bbosa’s Gadaffi FC on two year contracts each.

Salim Abdallah joined URA FC, Sadam Masereka went to USA and currently features for Lindsey Wilson College while Benson Muhindo joined Rwanda’s Rwamagana City FC.

Striker Isaac Ogwang also joined Arua Hill.

The club will be embarking on a new season under the tutelage of Ibrahim Kirya and Jackson Magera.
