GHANA: Mukwala shines brightest in come back victory over Berekum Chelsea


Steven Dese Mukwala was named the man of the match in Asante Kotoko’s 2-1 win over Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League.

Mukwala assisted the first goal before scoring the winner with a glancing header.

Emmanuel Sarpong gave Berekum Chelsea the lead in the 28th minute but Mukwala set up Serge Eric Zeze for a much needed equalizer at the stroke of halftime.

The former URA striker headed home the winning goal in 66th minute from Enock Morrison’s free kick.

Mukwala Stats In Ghana
• He has scored three goals in the league so far, against Legon Cities, King Faisal and Berekum Chelsea.

• He was subsequently named the man of the match, for the second time this season.

Asante Kotoko currently sit second on the table with 17 points, two behind current leaders Aduana Stars.
