Upon his appointment as head coach for FUFA Big League side Tooro United Football, Edward Golola has vowed to turn the fortunes of the club upside down
Tooro United who got eliminated from the Ugandan topflight division have seen a mass exodus of senior players and Golola’s work is already cut out.
He asserts that he will begin by identifying raw talent and developing them to create a firm foundation for the club.
“I have embarked on looking for players with my technical team, I believe I can assemble a good team of young players who can seriously compete and make it to the national level.”

“I am good at preparing young players and it is one of the reasons I have decided to take up this challenge so that I can discover young talents and thrrough this Tooro United will be one of the best clubs with young and talented players.”
Golola has a lot of confidence in his technical team since it is not the first time to work with them,
“I have confidence in my technical team, I believe in them since we worked together way back 2013 where we won the Masaza Cup tourney with Mawokota.”

Tooro United confirmed Edward Golola as the head coach and will be assisted by Simon Ddungu.
Moses Oloya takes the role of the goalkeeping coach, Jamada Magasi as the first team trainer and Fred Kasekende as the head coach of the junior team.
