Hon. Sekabira commends Ffumbe for the fighting spirit, demands for more.

Honourable Denis Ssekabira the member of Parliament for Katikamu North has urged Ffumbe clan players to fight on until the final day.

His remarks were made at his home in Luweero where he hosted the team after playing to a two all draw with Mbogo clan in the Bika Byabaganda Football tournament.

The legislator who is also a licensed player with the team also asked the players to remain committed to the clan,

“It is a great honor hosting my clan at my residence, I appreciate you for accepting my invitation.”

“I am humbled to be part the licensed players this season, if we stay focused and committed we shall reach far. I also request that even after the tournament is completed we keep this friendship.”

Ssekabira is one the key sponsors of the Ffumbe clan has so far provided them with two sets of jerseys and continued to render financial support

Enock Walusimbi and Senoga Muhammad Kagawa were the goal scorers for Ffumbe while Jovan Mawejje and Farouk Ssekayi were on target for Mbogo clan

The return leg will be played on Monday 7th July at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku at 2:00pm

The aggregate winner will progress to this year’s semi finals.
