Express FC midfielder Abubakar Kasule’s rehabilitation continues in the United States of America.

The defensive midfielder is nursing a knee injury he sustained during pre-season training and is set to return in December.

Kasule is yet to feature for the Red Eagles this season since he reunited with the club on a two year employment contract in August this year.

“It’s tricky to start with an injury because that happened when I had just joined the club a month back. After having a scan the doctors told me that I had a torn muscle in my right knee and it was scary because I thought it would take me a long to recover. But the experts in America have made it easier for me and after having a vacuum surgery three weeks back I am now going through my rehab.”

He added,

“I am overjoyed to see what the team is doing at the moment they are performing well and this has also helped me to heal very well without any kind of pressure. Personally, I believe in all my teammates and the coaches that with consistency we can compete favourably for the trophy.” Kasule told the club website

During his first stint he featured for the club between 2016 to 2018.
