Uganda Hippos head coach Jackson Mayanja has expressed his delight over team’s performance in their CAF U20 Zonal Qualifiers group B game against Tanzania.

First half goals from Titus Ssematimba and Rogers Mugisha earned the Hippos a perfect start to the competition.

“It’s always important to get a winning touch in the first game of any competition and so have got the winning touch and won the game convincingly. The boys played a fantastic game in the first half, the confidence on the ball was there though they were a bit nervous in the second half.”
