Joseph Semujju gets off the mark with late equalizer in Mbeya Derby

Joseph Semujju scored a late equalizer for Mbeya City in a one-all draw with Tanzania Prisons during a Tanzania Premier League game played on Sunday at the Sokoine Stadium in the Mbeya.

Semujju came off the bench to level the scores of the Mbeya Derby in the 87th minute.

Tanzania Prisons spent the large spells of the game with a slim lead having scored as early as the 8th minute through Adili Buha.

Semujju’s goal was his first for Mbeya since switching from Uganda Premier League side BUL FC in the January transfer window.

The Matia Lule coached side are currently 5th on the league table with 24 points accumulated from 16 games played.

Mbeya City will return to action on Saturday 5th March in another Mbeya Derby as they take on Mbeya Kwanza at the Sokoine Stadium.
