He hailed his parents and coaches for the success

“I thank my parents and coaches for the support that enabled me bring medals. It was not easy since I was so nervous, i didn’t know what to expect since have been seeing my competitors on social media. I was also not used to the environment so I had to learn and be there to perform and produce the best results.” Said Mukundane.

Mutesi also asserted how competitive the Championship was in Cairo and promised more medals in Mexico

“It was a stiff competition for me most especially from the Cameroonian, I can’t wait to battle her again in Mexico.’

“I thank the school for availing us the training facilities without going anywhere for training.” Said Mutesi
