Kalanda, Oshaba among five new signings unveiled by Police FC

Police FC have unveiled their five new signings that joined them in the recently concluded January transfer window.

Three of these are strikers and these are Marvin Oshaba, John Lincoln Mukisa and Frank Kalanda who have signed short term contracts of six months each.

Oshaba joins from Tooro United managed nine goals in the 2020/21 season as Tooro United gained top flight promotion. He has so far scored four goals this season.

Kalanda joined the Cops as a free agent having been released by Express FC in July 2021.

He has previously played for Express, URA, Soana (now Tooro United) and Rwanda’s AS Kigali.

The other new signings are Bernard Kateregga who has joined from Buganda Regional League side Buwambo and John Kitanda from Najja 2 FC and have been awarded employment contracts of three years each.

AIGP Asan Kasingye the club chairman unveiled the players at the Police headquarters in Naguru and promised to render all the possible support,

“We take you like our children and we shall support you.” Added Kasingye as reported by the club

Police FC are currently tenth on the table with 16 points from 15 games.
