Eric Kambale and Godfrey Lwesibawa inspired Express FC to a 2-0 win over Mbarara City at Muteesa II Stadium on Tuesday.

Kambale struck from the spot after Mbarara defender Ronald Otti had fouled forward Raymond Walugembe from the forbidden area.

Lwesibawa put the seal on the Red Eagles victory with his second goal of the season late in the second half.

The visitors had minimal opportunities with their only reasonable shot on target coming from Ronald Edwok.
