Kampala Queens complete the signing of Shamira Nalugya

Kampala Queens have captured the signing of Crested Cranes midfielder Shamira Nalugya ahead of the forthcoming FUFA Women Super League.

Nalugya has been playing for Kawempe Muslim for the past two seasons since leaving Isra Soccer Academy in 2019.

The crafty midfielder is currently part of the U20 national team that will be facing Ghana in the return leg of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Accra.

She is the second of the many major signing Kampala Queens have in the ongoing secondary transfer window that closes tomorrow 31st January.

Kampala Queens already unveiled U20 midfielder Zaitun Namaganda as their first signing.

U20 winger Zainah Nandede is another player expected to join the club from She Kataka.

Nalugya is expected to team up with Fauzia Najjemba who is her former teammate at Mukono High School and Isra Soccer Academy.

Kampala Queens will open their FUFA Women Super League campaign with a trip to Tooro Queens at Buhinga on February 9th.
