Kataka assumes table leadership as Proline inches closer to relegation

Kyetume, Kitara and Kataka registered important victories on the road as Blacks Power drew with relegation threatened Proline FC.

Kataka FC smiled to a 2-0 victory over Ndejje University at Arena of Visions to go top of the log .

Hassan Wandenga and Swamad Okur were on target in the 14th and 56th minutes respectively.

The Mbale based entity is now tied with second placed Blacks Power FC on 35 points.

Blacks Power rallied from behind twice to earn a two all draw against relegation threatened Proline FC.

Proline FC’s goals were scored by Kevin Obua and Brian Umony.

Micheal Siwu and Fred Okot were the goal scorers for Blacks Power FC.

David Mutono’s Kyetume FC humbled already relegated Nyamityobora FC to a 6-0 humiliating defeat at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.

Ezra Kaye scored four while Sharif Ssaka bagged a brace for the Mukono based entity.

Victory helps Kyetume FC move to the third position with 34 points one behind Blacks Power FC and Kataka FC.

Calvary FC humbled Luweero United to a 2-0 defeat at Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

Substitute Victor Kilama scored moments after replacing Paul Onyu before Micheal Khedi sealing it off for Geoffrey Akena’s coached side.

Calvary FC moves to the fifth position replacing Ndejje University.

Luweero United is pushed to the eighth position one position above the drop zone.

Charles Kyomuhendo, Edson Agondeza and Clinton Kamugisha scored a goal each in Kitara FC’s 3-0 victory against already relegated MYDA FC to move out of the relegation zone.

Kitara FC moves to the sixth position with 24 points.
