Kawempe Muslim scored two early goals to beat She Maroons 2-0 in a Women Super League game played at Luzira Prisons.

Phiona Nabulime and Asia Nakibuuka were on target to inspire Kawempe to bounce back to winning ways after going two games without victory.

Nabulime scored her first goal for the school side with a seemingly feeble shot from with the box past goalkeeper Jackline Adongo in the 10th minute.

Four minutes later, Nakibuuka made it 2-0 when her cross from the left wing was not well dealt with by goalkeeper Adongo and crossed the line.

Adongo was subsequently withdrawn and replaced by Esther Akujo following her false start to the game.

Kawempe have now garnered seven points from four games and lie 4th on the Super League table with a game in hand.

The Ayub Khalifa coached side had lost to She Corporate 2-0 and drew 1-1 with Tooro Queens in their last two fixtures.

They will take on Rines SS at the school valley grounds on Tuesday as they aim to bridge the game with the table leaders She Corporate who have 13 points.

She Maroons currently sit second from bottom with only a point garnered from five games.

The Super League will continue on Monday as Olila High School visit embattled champions Lady Doves at the Katusabe Grounds in Masindi.
