UCU Lady Cardinals 1-1 Kawempe Muslim
UCU Lady Cardinals and Kawempe Muslim played out a 1-1 draw at Mukono in the only FUFA Women Super League game played over the weekend.
This was a rescheduled game that was supposed to be played on match day 1 but the Kawempe Muslim team had traveled for FEASSA games in Arusha.
Sharon Nadunga scored for the home side before Shakira Nyinagahirwa struck a late equalizer for the school side.

It was an encounter with very few goal attempts as both sides struggled to gain full control of the proceedings.
Nadunga, who was facing her immediate former side, was on a receiving end of a very poor clearance but Kawempe’s Jolly Kobusinge broke the deadlock with a sublime effort in the 67th minute.
Kawempe equalized in the final 11 minutes of the game through Nyinagahirwa who thumped the ball at the near post after receiving a neat pass from substitute Allen Nasaazi.
The result left UCU second on the table with 10 points and unbeaten while Kawempe moved to five points and remained winless on the road this season.
UCU will face leaders Kampala Queens in their next game at Mukono this weekend while Kawempe will host lowly placed Rines SS.
