KCCA FC have agreed a deal in principle to sign Brian Aheebwa from Mbabara City.

Mbarara City wanted to keep their starman for another two years but the player has opted to join Mike Mutebi’s side and is expected to sign a three year employment contract at the Lugogo outfit.

Sources indicate that Mbarara City have now lined up former Synergy striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe currently at Nyamityobora as Aheebwa’s replacement.

Aheebwa, a former Nyamityobora striker, is Mbarara City’s all time leading scorer and was instrumental in the club’s promotion to the top-flight.

KCCA FC are also close to completing deals for Pius Obuya, Ashraf Mugume and Charles Lwanga.
