KCCA FC are close to completing a loan move for Proline FC defender Brian Mato, Swift sports Uganda has learnt.
Brian, a brother to another Proline FC player Rogers Mato, is set to put pen to paper on a two years’ contract with the Morley Byekwaso coached side.
The right full back is expected to be a direct replacement for Filbert Obenchan who was released by the club a month ago.
Mato scored one of the two goals as Proline came from a goal down to beat Blacks Power in the Big League semi final promotional play offs last week.

They however failed to make it to the Uganda Premier League after falling to a disappointing 2-0 against Gadaffi FC in the final.
Mato will become the second player to join KCCA on loan from Proline in the past two seasons after Bright Anukani whose loan deal has expired.
KCCA have already aquired the services of Brian Mwajwega, Yassar Mugerwa, Brian Kayanja, Emmanuel Wasswa, Arafat Usama and defender Geofrey Wasswa.
