Wafula drew first blood at the stroke of halftime with a well curved strike after he capitalised on a defensive lapse.

Into the second stanza, the hosts pushed for an opportunity to double their lead.

BUL FC could have leveled the game after referee Shamirah Nabadda awarded them a penalty when Wafula brought down Esenu in the goal area on 68 minutes.

Newly introduced Joseph Ssemujju fired the resultant penalty far, wide and wild, above the cross bar.

Manager Morley Byekwaso made a few chances among whom was Lwanga who replaced Sadat Anaku.

Lwanga scored a sole effort goal after he picked the ball from the far right and dribbled past BUL defenders to burry the ball into the back of the net on 77 minutes.

Another second half substitute Joseph Kizza Bukenya had an exciting interplay with Herbert Achai before the latter set Kasirye to tap home for a third goal for the hosts on 80 minutes.

Musa Esenu pulled one back for the Jinja based club with 6 minutes left to play.

KCCA FC would have scored more but Ashiraf Mugume and Denis Iguma had their shots rattle the woodwork in the 87th and 90th minutes respectively.

Whereas BUL FC has dropped to the 5th position on the table with 14 points, the table leaders have stretched the gap.

They now lead the table with 22 points collected from 8 games.

Kasirye’s goal takes his personal tally to five goals so far this season while both Esenu and Lwanga have extended their tally to 4 goals.

While KCCA FC will have an outing to face Vipers in their next game on Sunday 5th, December, 2021, BUL will be playing against Busoga United at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Tuesday, 7th, December, 2021.
