William Wadri and Peter Lwasa scored a goal each as both Bandari and Gor Mahia shared spoils in a 1-1 draw in the Kenya Premier League at Mbaraki grounds in Mombasa.
Lwasa put Gor Mahia in the lead but Wadri equalized for Bandari who were starting a new life after the sacking of coach Andre Casa Mbungo.
Lwasa was on the receiving end of a Boniface Odhiambo pass to break the deadlock in the 43rd minute.
Wadri leveled up in the 70th minute from a well delivered cross by second half substitute Abeid Mohamed.
Lwasa has so far scored six goals for the K’Oghalo since leaving Kariobangi Sharks at the start of the season. In fact, he narrowly missed out on Gor Mahia’s player of the month for January.
Wadri on the other hand, has so far four goals this season, despite scoring 14 last season.
Umaru Kasumba started on the Bandari bench while defender Rogers Aloro didn’t make the final match day squad.
