The Central and East Africa regional football tournament (Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup) will return after four years.

The 2024 edition will be hosted by Zanzibar, starting from 29th June and run until 14th July.

The competition was last held in 2019 in Kampala as Uganda went all the way to clinching the title.

For starters, each country that will take part in this year’s tourney will have to pay $20,000 to help the hosting Country in logistics and operational costs.
