Substitute William Kiibi scored a late equaliser for Police FC with only three minutes left on time to win an away point for the Peace keepers.

Kiibi headed home in the 87th minute after spending only seven minutes on the pitch to put the game to level.

He had replaced veteran striker Herman Wasswa in the 80th minute.

Earlier on Dickens Kilama had put the host in the lead four minutes after the half time break.

Police FC’s Angelo Lyonesi commended his team for the never say die attitude and expects it to be a driving factor in their struggle for promotion.

“It has been a very tough game but I am happy for a point. It is better than suffering defeat though we wasted so may opportunities in the first period.”

“Poor defensive errors saw us concede but the players fought hard for at least a point. Kiibi is one player that can give you the best when he comes in as a substitute.”

Calvary FC move to 11th position thanks to the point earned with four points.

A point has no impact on Police’s position, they remain fourth with seven points from four games.

Both teams will be playing their next games on Thursday 10th November with Calvary FC visiting Ndejje University at Bombo Barracks Grounds.

Police FC will host Ndejje University at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
