Kitende, Lugogo to host Women Super League games as home grounds for new season are confirmed

St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende and the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo are among the 10 home grounds that will be used in the upcoming FUFA Women Super League season.

Kitende will be the home ground for the new league entrants Wakiso Hill Women Football Club while league champions Kampala Queens will use the Omondi Stadium as their home ground.

The development follows the respective partnership between Vipers SC and Wakiso Hill as well as KCCA FC and Kampala Queens.

Kampala Queens were using the IUIU Kabojja Campus ground as their home while Wakiso Hill used Maya playground as they earned promotion to the topflight.

The other home grounds for the rest of the FUFA Women Super League clubs are unchanged.

Kawempe Muslim will host from the Valley ground of Kawempe Muslim Secondary School while the St. Gerald’s Stadium is the Uganda Martyrs’ home ground.

Lady Doves host from Katusabe Stadium in Masindi, Asubo Gafford Ladies will once again use the Kampala Quality ground while UCU Lady Cardinals will host from their UCU Sports Ground.

Makerere University will host from the Makerere University ground, Kabaka Kyabaggu remains the home ground of Rines WFC while new entrants She Maroons will continue to host from the Luzira Prisons ground.

The 2023/24 FUFA Women Super League is expected to kick off in October after all the 10 clubs fulfilled the FUFA Club Licensing exercise.
