Kyetume take relegation fight to MYDA



MYDA hosts Kyetume on matchday 22 of the Uganda Premier League at King George in Tororo.

Both teams are fighting for their survival, MYDA is 15th with only nine points while their opponents are one position above on 19 points.

Kyetume will be seeking revenge to a side they lost to 1-0 in the first leg tie courtesy of Paul Musamali’s lone goal as MYDA registered their debut win in the Uganda Premier League.

The hosts will miss Isma Mafabi and Solomon Balyejusa due to injuries but welcome back Brandy Lojum from suspension.

Jackson Mayanja will be without captain Musitafa Mujuzi who is sick, Bida Ezra and Joshua Kigozi nursing respective injuries while first choice goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa and Julius Ntambi were suspended by the club on match fixing allegations.

The hosts will look to Eric Mutebi, Peter Mutebi, Moses Batali, Faisal Muledhu and Derick Basoga inspire them complete a double over the Slaughters.

Nicholas Kasozi, Sharif Ssaka, Feni Ali, Richard Matovu will be expected to rise to the occasion if Kyetume are to do their survival hopes a favour.
