MYDA FC recovered from two goals down to draw 2-2 with fellow strugglers Kyetume FC at the King George IV Stadium in Tororo on Friday, May 7th ,2021.
Kizito Kaye and Yusuf Saka scored for Kyetume before Amos Etojo and Derrick Basoga’s late goals earned MYDA a point.
In the same game, Kyetume FC custodian Emmanuel Derrick Were saved two penalties with Isaac Osikol and Peter Mutebi failing to fire past him from 12 yards.
Kaye gave Kyetume the a deserved lead in the 12th minute.

Saka doubled the Mukono based side’s advantage at the stroke of half with a calmly taken penalty.
Etojo pulled one back for the home side with a sensational free kick five minute to normal time before Basoga completed a dramatic comeback inside the 10 minutes of added time with a powerful header that left Were stranded.
Kyetume had a chance to win it in the 98th minute of added time when referee Katende Hamza awarded them a penalty but this time Saka failed to hit the target.

Kyetume who played out to their 8th stalemate of the campaign stay in the red zone with 20 points from 22 games while MYDA with their 4th draw are second from the bottom with 10 points in 22 games.
Kyetume will host Express FC at home on Wednesday whereas MYDA will visit UPDF on Tuesday 7th May.
